Scallywaggs Hand n Hand
is a parent/caregiver and
child service catering from
birth to 5 year olds.

Hand n Hand offers a unique opportunity for parents and caregivers to spend quality time with their child in an environment that supports and encourages “learning alongside your child.”

This innovative approach to young children’s development includes adult education on early childcare and early childhood education and is free to enrolling families.

Hand n Hand gives parents with young children the opportunity to interact with other parents and to ask those parenting questions only experience can answer.

Hand n Hand can organise courses during session time which cover children's educational and social development, anything from child nutrition to sleeping issues can be covered. These courses are arranged based on the needs of the attending families / caregivers and children.

Qualified Teachers are present at each Hand n Hand session. We take pleasure in fostering positive relationships with both parents and children.

Come along and meet other Mums, Dads, Caregivers and pre-schoolers from the local community. Enjoy sharing your child's learning and learn ways to enhance your parenting skills.

Education Reiew Office: "Strong relationships exist between staff and with parents and families involved with the centre. Participating parents share responsibility for all children, contributing to the family-like atmosphere of care and respect for individuals. Parents value the opportunities to support each other, while developing positive parenting skills". To read the complete report click here.
