Graduation Kindergarten
Our programme operates between 9:00am and 3:00pm, Monday to Friday catering for 15 preschool children.
Graduation Kindergarten prepares children for the challenge of school providing a supportive and positive transition.
The programme is principally designed for 4 and a half year olds for a period no longer than 6 months.
Graduation Kindergarten provides children with opportunities to develop into competent learners who are emotionally, socially and cognitively prepared for the transition from the early childcare environment to the school environment.

Deirdre Harris, Head Teacher (Bachelor of Ed. Early Years)
Deirdre has worked most of her adult life with her husband on a dairy farm while raising their five children.
Deirdre taught as a provisionally registered Primary School teacher (year 2 and 3) completing her teacher registration, and in January 2010 was appointment Head Teacher in the Senior Kindergarten. Deidre moved to the Graduation Kindergarten when it opened in January 2011.
Deirdre has learnt through her experience as a teacher and mother that getting to know children and their families is fundamental to children’s learning, and by providing children with the right tools and skills in a nurturing, caring environment they can achieve anything.
Kirsty White, Teacher (Dip. Teach ECE)
I am passionate about building strong relationships with children and their families as this enables me as a teacher to make links between home experiences, events, and interests and then continuing and supporting this within the early childhood setting.
As a teacher I believe it is important for children to grow up as competent, confident learners who know that they have given things a go and that they have a sense of belonging in the world they live in.
